The fitness industry was a late change for me. Through my childhood I grew up in country NSW and my family was always into sports - softball, baseball, hockey, touch footy (rep level). 

 

Through my 20s I really did wear the leotards G string and aerobic wear, and was always passionate about health and fitness.

 

Moving to Orange, I continued in sporting circles and paused to have my 2 children who are now wonderful young adults. Worked with the Health Insurance Commission (Medicare) for 21yrs.  After speaking to countless customers on the phone about their health worries and operations they needed but couldn’t afford, I left Medicare – wanting to help people before they get to that stage.

 

In my 40s I had a sea change and moved to Queensland and a career change, got my Dip Fitness Business and continued to study where I am today.  When I am not training I enjoy being in the outdoors, walking, obstacle courses (my latest exercise fun) reading and researching up on anything to do with prevention of disease and maintaining a healthy independent life. Spending time with family and friends is always a priority.

 

Favourite Food: Roast dinner

 

Favourite Exercise: Anything with variety and HIIT (I get bored easily)

 

Main goal of the year: More obstacle courses and continuing on my path to a holistic approach in all areas of life; focusing on nutrition, regular exercise and fit for lifestyle day to day triumphs.

I love being at Northside Fitness and being part of a positive, committed, consistent team and in an environment where we all push each other to achieve our health and fitness goals which is full of good and positive habits, whilst making healthier choices for lifelong changes for themselves and their families.

 

My aim is for my clients to leave their session feeling more supported, uplifted and motivated feeling they have worked hard at an achievable level, while feeling strong and energised creating balance in their lives.
